This podcast for academic learners is based out of the Student Learning Centre of Massey University in Auckland. Each podcast focuses on a single academic “Word of the Day” with explanations in a real world context. The podcasts include a listening section accompanied by a test, a phrasal verb review, and a quiz question. Podcasts also feature online extension activities, such as a related reading or listening. While the podcast is not updated every day, new posts appear a few times a week. This site is ideal for high-intermediate or advanced learners, especially those hoping to attend post secondary school in English.
