World Leaders Meet for Historic Climate Change Talks
Representatives from 196 countries have gathered in Paris this week to discuss climate change. The goal of the 21st session of the Conference of Parties (COP21) is to formulate an action plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and limit global warming. Scientists have warned that if global temperatures rise more than 2C above pre-industrial averages, the damage will likely be catastrophic and irreversible. Security for delegates is at an all-time-high due to the recent terror attacks in Paris.
