1,600 Pandas Arrive At Hong Kong Airport

A of 1,600 paper mache pandas arrived at International Airport this week. The pandas are part of a project to raise awareness about the dwindling species. The artwork was created by a French sculptor who used recycled paper, rice, and environmentally friendly paint, and avoided any use of plastic. The pandas have already been to other cities in Europe and Asia, and will travel to various places in Hong Kong to help raise money for conservation . The panda is the logo of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), which estimates that only 1,600 giant pandas remain .
